Location:
Vila Nova de Gaia / Porto (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office) Required

skills:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with knowledge of the full engineering lifecycle.
- Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Working knowledge of Agentic AI systems.
- Experience with core machine learning concepts and their practical implementation.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and AI services.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices.
- Experience developing microservices using Flask, Django, or Spring (Java).
- Practical experience with GitHub Copilot and other AI-powered developer tools.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI use cases and technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, data science, and platform teams.
- Ability to document solutions, support technical handovers, and mentor junior colleagues.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Nice to have:
- AI/ML engineering certifications, such as Azure AI Engineer, Google Cloud ML Engineer, or AWS Machine Learning certifications.
- Generative AI certifications or training, such as AWS Generative AI or Microsoft Generative AI Engineering.
- GitHub Copilot Certification.
