We are recruiting a Customer Financial Services Supervisor for a client based in Porto.

The Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision and coordination support to a team of operational and/or clerical employees, or contractors. This role ensures the successful completion of team tasks and oversees employee-related activities in accordance with local policies. The Supervisor plays a key role in performance monitoring, employee development, and administrative duties, while also supporting disciplinary actions and contract management under the supervision of relevant management.

Main Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and support the team in executing daily tasks, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Oversee Ship to Collect, GCI, Credit and Collections, Disputes, Cash Applications, and Billing processes.
- Manage and resolve escalated or high-impact customer and vendor issues.
- Support the manager in resource planning and allocation, ensuring department priorities are met.
- Identify training needs and develop training materials and content for team development.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and financial performance while ensuring operational effectiveness.
- Implement corrective actions based on business needs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising operational or administrative teams in the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, including credit, collections, and billing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.
