We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow - CMDB System Administrator with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of CMDB modules is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage CMDB health
- Review the existing configuration: attributes, flow, Configuration Items (CIs), Groups, Teams, etc.
- Prepare the CMDB for effective IT Service Management (ITSM) implementation in ServiceNow
- Improve business processes and manage continuous improvement projects
- Propose automation whenever possible
- Manage technical documentation
- Coordinate upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance
- Manage permissions and access (roles, users, and groups)
- Maintain instance performance through regular checkups
- Troubleshoot day-to-day operations and system issues
- Deploy update sets from non-production environments
- Set up automatic notifications and alerts
- Set up reports and schedule them
- Develop and manage a standard load template to import data
- Provide process training to business owners
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of CMDB modules
- Experience with ITSM is a strong plus
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with automation in IT processes
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform upgrades
- Experience in providing training to users
