Regulatory Project Manager for Credit Risk Reporting – BNP Paribas CIB

Position Overview
Join the Standards and Controls (S&C) – Standards Implementation Office (SIO) team in Lisbon, specifically the Prudential & Regulatory Project Implementation (PRPI) team responsible for implementing prudential projects within Finance & Strategy. Work closely with RISK teams and interact with multiple functions across the Group.

Main Activities (Responsibilities)

- Manage COREP/Pillar 3 reporting projects, implementing regulatory changes following Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) and ESG regulatory reporting requirements covering the Group scope.

- Coordinate regulatory projects: organize project plans, take minutes, prepare support material, participate in Steering Committees, and follow up on action plans and roadmaps.

- Propose appropriate solutions, collaborate with RISK, Finance, IT, COO teams and operating entities to embed solutions.

- Communicate expected developments and operational insertion in updated processes.

- Prepare, organize, and coordinate workshops and steering committees for projects within the scope.

Profile and Skills

- At least 3 years of professional experience in regulatory topics, accounting or reporting matters, preferably with project management exposure.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

- Expertise in operational production, computer skills, and control of production operations.

- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

- Strong collaboration and teamwork ability.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information.

- Analytical mindset.

- Proactive attitude.

About the Team

- Standards & Controls Department monitors evolution in accounting, performance management, prudential and reporting standards and ensures regulatory oversight.

- Divided into four branches: Accounting Standards Project Implementation (ASPI); Prudential & Regulatory Project Implementation (PRPI); Liquidity & Resolution Project Implementation (LRPI); Controls & Data Remediation Project Implementation (CCRR).
