Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Architect to join a team of technologists responsible for building and operating an industry-leading FX electronic trading platform.

In this role, you will manage and optimize mission-critical trading infrastructure, ensuring exceptional levels of reliability, performance, and low latency. You will also play a key role in the efficient adoption of cloud-based services.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, software developers, and network engineers to support the trading systems and continuously improve the underlying technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee global FX trading infrastructure to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance
- Provide infrastructure expertise and guidance to software development teams
- Collaborate with group-wide infrastructure teams to address business needs and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to achieve consistency across a highly distributed environment
- Research emerging technologies and contribute to the definition of the infrastructure technology roadmap

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (e.g. RHEL, SLES)
- Strong understanding of OS performance tuning, particularly for low-latency applications
- Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
- Experience with server hardware, data center deployments, and OS migrations
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and shell
- Proven experience supporting mission-critical production infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet) is a plus
- Knowledge of Windows systems and NAS administration is a plus
- Strong motivation to learn and adopt new technologies
