Job Description We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Architect to join a team of technologists responsible for building and operating an industry-leading FX electronic trading platform. In this role, you will manage and optimize mission-critical trading infrastructure , ensuring exceptional levels of reliability, performance, and low latency . You will also play a key role in the efficient adoption of cloud-based services . You will work closely with business stakeholders, software developers, and network engineers to support the trading systems and continuously improve the underlying technology. Key Responsibilities Oversee global FX trading infrastructure to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance Provide infrastructure expertise and guidance to software development teams Collaborate with group-wide infrastructure teams to address business needs and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to achieve consistency across a highly distributed environment Research emerging technologies and contribute to the definition of the infrastructure technology roadmap Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (e.g. RHEL, SLES) Strong understanding of OS performance tuning , particularly for low-latency applications Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies Experience with server hardware , data center deployments, and OS migrations Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and shell Proven experience supporting mission-critical production infrastructure Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet) is a plus Knowledge of Windows systems and NAS administration is a plus Strong motivation to learn and adopt new technologies
