Biocatalysis & Dsp Pilot Plant Operator/Technician

Our research center in Germany brings together leading scientists in biotechnology, enzyme technology, and chemistry to advance the science of human sphingolipid production.

In Portugal, our experienced development and manufacturing team works to develop and implement technology for scalable and cost-effective production.

We push the boundaries of science and create clinical evidence of the health benefits of human sphingolipids in skincare, infant nutrition, and cognitive functioning.

Our initial focus is on applications in skincare and infant nutrition.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain biocatalysis&DSP equipment in our pilot plant.

- Monitor and control biocatalytic&DSP processes.

- Collect and record data from experiments and production runs.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

- Collaborate with research and development teams.

Role Requirements

- Preferably with some experience in scale up equipment.

- Technical diploma from professional school or similar.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.

- Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information

Full‑time employment with good contractual conditions in Biocant Park, Cantanhede, Portugal.

On‑the‑job training will be provided for specific equipment and processes.
