You will be responsible to:

1. Deliver win-win cost-effective solutions on time and in full through focused project teams speaking in one voice, working in an efficient and collaborative environment, thereby leading to long-term sustainability with satisfied stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, sponsors and team members.
2. Lead the project teams, plan, set priorities, monitor and control, and take the decisions that result in delivery as per the agreed scope, budget and timeline. Maximizing financial performance and optimizing customer satisfaction are central to the function.
3. Manage projects in the allocated area and escalate complex issues to more senior colleagues or managers.
4. Proactively manage and take responsibility of the scope, cost, time and quality of each project assigned.
5. Deliver the project objectives (e.g. results, processes, products) through a structured approach in alignment with industry or Company best practices.
6. Lead the project team to take decisions and influence key stakeholders with integrity.
7. Participate in project team composition and selection.
8. Clarify project team roles and responsibilities and enable others to optimize their use of technical, management and leadership skills.
9. Communicate proactively and effectively internally and externally, building rapport with key stakeholders.
10. Build and sustain motivation of the project team members and positive dynamics within the project team.
11. Give timely and specific feedback to the project team members regularly, both positive and constructive.
12. Develop knowledge related to project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
13. Master project management processes and tools.
14. Manage complex projects/analysis with significant impact on business.
15. Make quality and timely decisions based on multiple sources of data.
16. Manage risk and uncertainty; anticipate and escalate roadblocks in order to prevent deviations to the goals.
17. Follow all applicable GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione's policies, systems and procedures.
18. Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

1. Minimum degree level qualification required. Master's degree in Science or Engineering, or related field highly desired.
2. Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, Prince2 or equivalent) or education (highly advantageous).
3. Typically requires 5 years of relevant experience in an operational and/or scientific area within the Industry (highly desirable).
4. Technical background preferred, or experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry, especially CDMO environment.
5. Able to demonstrate mastery of Project Management processes and tools through proven experience in a PM function (mandatory).
6. Experience in leading others in project context.
7. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
8. Track record of overachieving targets.
9. Comfortable in an environment of change and levels of uncertainty as befits complex development and manufacturing projects in a CDMO environment.
10. Experience of, and comfort with different cultural environments and styles as befits a worldwide client base is desirable.
11. Possess solid knowledge of Project Management principles and practices.
12. Able to make quality and timely decisions based on multiple sources of data.
13. Able to make decisions regarding prioritization of tasks, planning, quality of deliverables and topics to communicate to external partners.
14. Able to manage risk and uncertainty; anticipates roadblocks in order to prevent deviations to the plan and proactively informs the customer when any changes and/or challenges arise.
15. Able to carry out a proactive risk-impact analysis of project resources.
16. Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
17. Good communication skills (verbal and written), allied to good presentation skills demonstrated towards customers but also internal stakeholders, including Senior Management of the Company.
18. Skilled at managing processes and tools.
19. Fluency in English is a requirement.
