The Customer Tools department is part of Software Platforms & Connectivity, one of the product modules in the Vestas Technology & Operation unit. We are responsible for delivering the tools and services used in the production and service operations worldwide. As a SW Engineer, you will join a specialized team working on new turbine platforms, improvement projects or specific tools projects.
Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for the development and maintenance of several tools and services that shape the way our turbines and plants are operated.
2. Be engaged in the early-stage feasibility studies of new products.
3. Be engaged during the functional and software requirements definition.
4. Be involved in software architectural design.
5. Write well-designed and testable code.
6. Be a part of the full software development lifecycle, including code review.
7. Be a good contributor in the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.
8. Be responsible for writing and updating comprehensive technical documentation and maintaining software functionality.
Qualifications
1. BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
2. +2 years of working experience with software development.
3. Advanced programming skills in C# / .Net.
4. Knowledge of common programming patterns and test strategies.
5. Proficiency in software development tools.
6. Practical experience with product or technology development.
You should have:
1. Good software architecture and design skills.
2. Experience with REST APIs.
3. Experience with unit testing.
4. Experience with Angular.
You may have:
1. Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Dockers.
2. Experience with UX/UI.
3. Experience with Git, GitHub and GitHub actions.
4. Experience with SQL Server.
5. Experience with Agile Development (Scrum, SAFe).
6. Experience with JIRA and other Atlassian tools.

This is a hybrid position based in Porto, Portugal.
