We're looking for a French-Speaking Digital Content Moderator to join our expanding team in the beautiful city of Porto. If you're eager to make a difference in the online world and speak French fluently, this is your chance to be part of something impactful What You'll Do: Moderate content (text, images, videos) in French, ensuring it follows community guidelines and legal requirements. Identify and remove inappropriate content like hate speech, harassment, explicit material, and spam to maintain a positive user environment. Make quick, fair, and consistent decisions in content moderation, keeping the platform safe and friendly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex content issues and refine moderation processes. Stay updated with trends in digital content, online safety, and best practices in content moderation. Work towards meeting quality targets and efficiency goals while ensuring a high standard of work. What We're Looking For: Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is essential. Good command of English (for internal communication and training). Experience in content moderation, customer service, or community management is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of online safety, community guidelines, and internet security. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed. A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a passion for ensuring safe online spaces. Nice to Have: Experience with content moderation tools or platforms. A good understanding of social media culture and trends. A background in legal, compliance, or media industries is a plus.
