Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions

About the RoleSupports the business of the organization by leading the regional Transaction team as directed by the Regional Lead Counsel, Commercial Transactions. Manages legal issues with a focus on trade practices in IT distribution with no or limited supervision. Counsels and advises management on legal problems in the transactional law area and works closely with local management teams regarding advising and training. Participates in or conducts negotiations and transactions on behalf of TD SYNNEX and assists in the defense of the organization in legal action. Supports legal compliance activities focused on the mentioned area.What You'll DoPlay an active role as a member of the global legal services team providing input in the development of policies and implementing initiatives and directives within the Country organization with a focus on contract/transactional law.Advise on legal aspects of TD SYNNEX’s business within the country using sound legal and business judgment and experience with a focus on contract/transactional law.Collaborate or cooperate with local management team, global legal services team, and outside legal counsel in various matters.Communicate and interact regularly with business clients and global legal services team to deliver high-value added legal services.Set work priorities, productivity goals, and provide a strong customer service focus.Advise direct reports and supervise their daily operational work.Provide training focused on contract/transactional matters for internal clients.Assist with the preparation or review of proposed contracts and other legal instruments to safeguard the organization’s interests.What We're Looking ForTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
