Restaurant Manager – Brunch Café (Belém & Graça) We are looking for an experienced, professional, and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to join our team at Augusto Lisboa, located in Belém and Graça. You are a fluent English and Portuguese speaker with a passion for hospitality and a desire to help cultivate an outstanding brunch experience. Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Management Recruit, onboard, and train team members Organise and supervise staff schedules and shifts Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback Foster a positive team culture and working environment Customer Experience Responsible for delivering superior service and maximising customer satisfaction Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, both in-house and online Respond to reviews and messages on social media platforms Maintain and enhance the restaurant's public image Train staff in best-practice customer service standards Restaurant Operations Participate in daily service Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House operations Continuously improve operational efficiency and workflows Monitor product quality and source new suppliers when needed Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier negotiations Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Develop and implement operational policies and procedures Manage relationships with service providers and monitor service quality Marketing & Online Presence Manage Tripadvisor and Google Maps profiles Oversee online marketing (Google and Instagram ads) Coordinate press relations and influencer partnerships Maintain and update the company website Plan and publish social media content Accounting & Performance Manage daily and monthly accounting Assess and improve profitability Prepare and present sales and performance reports Skills & Competencies Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Natural leadership with strong people-management abilities Solid financial awareness Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset Action-driven and proactive Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Experience Requirements Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Hospitality Manager High flexibility, including availability to work weekends and holidays Strong background in customer service management Extensive Food & Beverage knowledge Experience with restaurant management software (e.g. Winrest) Comfortable using Gmail, Google Drive, and related tools Why Join Us?
