In this role, you will be responsible for thedefinition, simulation, and validationof heat pump systems and components, supporting the full product development cycle — from concept to system release. Key Responsibilities Break down system requirements intoheat pump and component specifications. Usesimulation toolsto evaluate system functionality, perform dimensioning, and optimize performance. Develop and validatenew technical concepts and system solutionsfor heat pumps. Apply acomplete system approachby defining, dimensioning, and releasing new solutions and accessories. Work closely with system and lab testing teams toverify simulated resultsand ensure customer requirements are met. Provide all necessarytechnical documentationfor system release, including hydraulic and control logic integration. Define and maintaintechnical guidelines and planning documentsin accordance with relevant standards. Qualifications Education Master's degree inMechanical Engineering,Physics Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience Proven experience insystems development and integration, ideally within theheat pump or HVAC industry. Background inR&D or product developmentenvironments. Know-How Solid knowledge ofthermodynamics, hydraulics, and refrigeration systems. Experience inSystems Engineering methodsand understanding ofcomplex system architectures. Proficiency insystem simulation and modelling, preferably usingMatlab/Simulink. Knowledge ofspecification, calculation, and designof system components. Confident user ofMicrosoft Office tools(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote). Languages Fluent in English(written and spoken). Portugueseis a nice to have. Working Style and Methods Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to problem solving. Ability to take ownership and deliver results independently.
