Your new Role The Software Development Tech Lead will act as a main reference for the Full Stack Engineering team, for Havi’s Clients engagement web platform. A typical day will include analysis of business needs, proposal of technical design and architecture alignment with company standards, software development and deployment of web services, features and enhancements, as well as close engagement with customers. This person will coach and guide Havi’s Software Engineers, providing relevant and constructive input on development and deployment tasks – they collaborate closely with Havi’s customer platform operations team, ensuring smooth handover of production solutions to our operations team. This person will lead the ongoing review of code, documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team. The role will include day-to-day collaboration and design discussions with business stakeholders, as well as with Havi’s strategic software partners. On the customer engagement platform team, everything they do is for the customer. So, the Software Development Tech Lead must understand that the customer is priority and lead the technical recommendations to the Software Engineering Manager. The Software Development Tech Lead will: Lead Platform Development – Drive the design, development, and maintenance of our customer engagement web platform; Set Technical Foundations – Work closely with the Architecture team to define best practices and support new project foundations; Ensure Code Quality – Guide the team in writing clean, scalable code through reviews and pull requests; PromoteReliable Releases – Establish unit testing practices and collaborate with the Testing Center of Excellence; Collaborate Across Teams – Translate technical requirements into actionable tasks and ensure smooth integration with the company’s IT systems; Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with the latest technologies and development practices to elevate team performance; Mentor and Lead – Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, fostering growth and excellence; Document Thoroughly – Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture, specs, run books, and training materials; SupportProject Delivery – Participate in planning, estimation, resource management, and risk tracking to ensure successful execution. What you'll need to succeed As a Software Development Tech Lead , you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Science and Technology (or equivalent experience); +5 years’ experience in Full Stack Software development ; Proven experience in Full Stack Software Engineer leadership roles ; Proficient in React, C#, .Net, RESTful API’s, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services ; Familiarity with development tools (such as VS Code, and version control systems like Azure DevOps or Git); Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications ; Strong experience in software design principles, user interfaces, and user experience best practices; Preference to work in an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; Experience working in Logistics, Supply Chain and Transport Management Industries (would be a plus); Experience working with global teams in multiple time zones; Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
