What You'll Do Lead technical architectureacross the stack — from TypeScript/React frontends to backend services integrating large language models (LLMs). Design, build, and optimizescalable AI agent systems leveraging OpenAI APIs and related technologies (function calling, vector stores, embeddings, etc.). Mentor and guideengineers through design reviews, code pairing, and architectural discussions. Collaborate with product and designto translate ambiguous ideas into reliable, user-centered features. Drive engineering excellence, implementing best practices for reliability, testing, and continuous deployment. Explore new AI capabilities— prototype and productionize advanced agentic behaviors and reasoning frameworks. Contribute to culture and strategy, helping Ogment grow a high-performing, mission-driven engineering team. What You Bring 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus onfull-stack TypeScript / React / systems. Strongsystems design and architectural thinking, especially in early-stage or high-growth environments. Experience working withAI/ML systems, particularlyLLMs and OpenAI APIs(e.g., GPT-4, function calling, fine-tuning, or embeddings). Proficiency infrontend engineeringwith modern React, , and component-driven design systems. Solid understanding ofbackend principles, including API design, event-driven systems, and scalable cloud infrastructure. Ability tolead projects end-to-end, from ideation through launch and iteration. Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach. A passion for AI — you enjoy experimenting, learning, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Bonus Points Experience buildingagents, AI orchestration layers, or autonomous tool-using systems.
