Job Description The Position The Order to Cash (OtC) Specialist will work with a team of around 10 professional OtC colleagues in the Center delivering and managing end-to-end OtC processes. Additionally, the OtC Specialist will work daily with our global BPO partner who executes OtC Transactional services for Organon in all our global regions. Responsibilities The Specialist will be expected to work in a selection of the OtC process areas from Order Management, Billing, Credit Management, Collections & Accounts Receivables / Cash Applications, Revenue Recognition and Gross to Net activities. Experience in as many of these OtC processes as possible is valuable. The Specialist will also operationally support Customer master data. The Specialist will contribute to ensuring all OtC processes and transactions comply with accounting standards, policies, SOX and statutory requirements. The Specialist will also provide input to the global process owner group for operational opportunities for process and control design, as well as customer experience. The OtC Service Center team will be organized regionally, so the Specialist will be working within a regional scope. As well as having responsibility for successful delivery of OtC operations for their region, the Specialist will oversee service delivery from our BPO partner and will work collaboratively with Organon Customers and Organon Markets to have a full understanding of our customers' needs and our business dynamics. Required Education, Experience, and Skills Hard Skills: OtC Process Expertise: Solid understanding of Credit Management, Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Applications. Familiarity with OtC process controls, SOX compliance, and financial regulations (US GAAP knowledge preferred). Technical Proficiency: Proficiency experience with SAP S/4 HANA is highly desirable. Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel (e.g., for data analysis and reporting). Process Improvement and Data Management: Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to optimise processes. Ability to create and manage detailed process documentation, such as SOPs and Regional Work Instructions. Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls. Experience with financial reporting and analysis. Project Management: Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and successfully manage projects. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Portuguese or other European languages is advantageous. Soft Skills: Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with global teams, internal stakeholders, and the BPO partner. Ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority. Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: Analytical mindset to identify process inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.
