Shopify Plug in Performance Marketing Specialist (They/She/He) Your Mission We are looking for a hands-on, resourceful Performance Marketing Specialist to drive the growth of , a newly launched Shopify plugin soon expanding into Salesforce and WooCommerce. This role requires someone who knows how to build traction from zero: acquiring merchants, improving App Store visibility, driving early reviews, and strengthening activation and retention. You will own our growth engine across paid, organic, and partner-led channels, with a strong focus on measurable performance and continuous optimisation. What You'll Do Plan, execute, and optimise paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) to acquire relevant Shopify merchants. Optimise acquisition and conversion funnels to increase installs, subscriptions, and merchant activation. Implement and maintain tracking setups (Pixel, GA4) with clear attribution and insights. Improve App Store visibility through ASO, competitive analysis, and listing optimisation. Drive early traction by securing high-quality merchant reviews and improving App Store ranking. Build non-paid acquisition channels, including outreach to Shopify agencies, app partners, influencers, and merchant communities. Create product-focused marketing content (Loom demos, guides, landing pages) to improve education, onboarding, and retention. Analyse merchant behaviour to refine onboarding flows and increase activation rates. Collaborate closely with product and engineering, providing insights on churn, feature usage, and merchant needs. Support email automation, retargeting, and lifecycle marketing to convert and retain merchants. What You'll Bring to the Team Proven experience growing Shopify apps/plugins or e-commerce SaaS products, ideally from early stages. Strong understanding of Shopify App Store mechanics, ASO, reviews strategy, and ranking optimisation. Hands-on experience in paid acquisition, CRO, funnel optimisation, and B2B merchant targeting. Ability to create clear, persuasive marketing content and product explainer materials. Experience with partner marketing (Shopify agencies, app partners, reviewers, YouTube channels). Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and execute quickly. Experience with fashion, home & décor, or jewellery merchants is a strong advantage. Why Join Us This is an opportunity to shape the growth of a new Shopify plugin from the ground up.
