We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a remote project in Portugal. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines Build and orchestrate workflows using AWS Step Functions and Apache Airflow Develop and optimize data transformations using Python and SQL Work extensively with Snowflake , including performance tuning and data modeling Implement and manage orchestration using Snowflake Tasks (preferred) or other orchestration tools Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, product, and engineering Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer Strong expertise in Snowflake Hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions Strong programming skills in Python Advanced SQL skills Experience with Apache Airflow Experience with Snowflake Tasks or at least one orchestration tool (Snowflake preferred) Experience working with cloud-based data architectures Nice to Have: Experience with large-scale data platforms Knowledge of data governance and best practices Experience working in agile environments.
