Based in Portugal, we can answer the increasing demand in the IT sector.Our mission is to build strong relationships, be a leading partner through a differentiated approach in IT consulting, and contribute to the professional and personal development of our team.We work with Nearshore projects, TM & Project Development, Service & Service Management, and Tech Academies.Hexa Consulting is looking for a Senior Application Security Expert to join our team and contribute to the design and development of scalable backend solutions for our clients.Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the deployment of a global Application Security strategy, as part of a central App Sec team.- Provide operational support to multiple business entities in implementing App Sec processes and managing vulnerabilities (L3 support).- Help define and maintain security guidelines, policies, and governance frameworks.- Liaise with solution providers to resolve technical issues and participate in App Sec governance committees.- Consolidate and report metrics and KPIs to measure Application Security maturity across the organization.Required Qualifications:- Expertise in Cybersecurity, with emphasis on secure software development.- Experience with vulnerability management, offensive security, and secure coding practices.- Knowledge of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops environments.Location:Lisbon (hybrid)Why Hexa Consulting?- Friendly and fast-paced culture- Projects using up-to-date Java technologies for our clients- Transparent communication and support from our team- Competitive compensation package
