Office-based at Porto, Portugal Start Dates: January 8th or January 29th "Are you fluent in German and experienced in customer support? We're hiring Customer Support Specialists to provide high-quality assistance for ByteDance's social media and tech products. This is an office-based role in Porto, supporting a global user base via email and chat only (no calls)." Your Role: You will work within a structured and performance-driven support framework, ensuring efficient, accurate, and high-quality customer interactions. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via email and chat with professionalism and accuracy; Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalate complex cases when required; Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality benchmarks; Take part in training sessions, coaching, and performance reviews; Continuously improve customer experience and service quality; Requirements: Mandatory: Previous experience in a contact center environment; Excellent written communication skills; Experience handling tickets and live chats; Preferred: Experience with advertising technology platforms; Product or technical support experience is an advantage; Knowledge of social media platforms and basic digital advertising concepts; Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment; Language Skills: German: B2+/C1; English: B2; Working Hours: Monday to Sunday: Shifts: 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00; 2 rotating days off; Future shift: 13:00–22:00; Later phase (TBC): 24/7 rotational shifts with 2 rotating days off; Contract: 6-month contract, renewable What We Offer: Base Salary: €1,100 gross/month (paid in 14 months); Complexity Bonus: €100 gross/month (paid in 11 months); Meal Allowance: €7.63 per working day (meal card); Health Insurance from day 1; If you're looking to grow your career in social media and tech support while living in Porto, this is your opportunity.
