Emagine is currently looking for a Senior AI/Backend Software Engineer (AI Factory) to join one of our clients' AI Factory initiatives, an enterprise-wide program focused on building reusable AI tools, services, and platforms for internal project teams. The selected professional will play a key role in defining scalable AI architectures, engineering standards, and deployment frameworks, thereby contributing directly to the development of the first operational AI use cases. AI Factory Objectives: Build reusable AI tools and services for internal development teams. Industrialize AI development through scalable architectures and governance.

Enable advanced AI capabilities such as agentic systems and MLOps. Your main responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting the AI Factory. Build and evolve reusable AI services, APIs, and frameworks. Develop agent-based architectures and AI-enabled services.

Contribute to document ingestion pipelines and AI governance mechanisms. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms and internal systems. Collaborate closely with product, data, and platform teams in an Agile environment. Participate in architectural discussions and actively contribute ideas and improvements.

You bring: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong backend focus. Proven experience developing production-grade systems using Python.

Experience

building and integrating AI-enabled or data-driven applications. Strong understanding of scalable architectures and cloud-native systems. Ability to work autonomously and contribute end-to-end solutions.

Experience

working in Agile teams. Excellent communication skills in English (fluent). Nice to have: Experience with AI Factory initiatives or enterprise AI platforms. Exposure to agentic architectures, MLOps, or AI governance.

Front-end experience with React and/or Angular (for full-stack role).

Experience

in large enterprise or complex organizational environments.
