Jobbex, a company that empowers people & organizations by matching great talents togreat projects is looking for the next IT Procurement Specialist – Software to support one of our clients.If you feel inspired to make a change and if you want to be part of the cool kid on the block, this opportunity is for youBe ready to find at Jobbex Portugal the transparent, friendly, and professional work environment you have been looking for.Responsabilities:- Manage the procurement lifecycle for software and IT-related services, from demand analysis to contract execution- Collaborate closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment- Lead vendor selection processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations- Negotiate contracts, pricing, licensing terms, renewals, and SLAs to achieve best value- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations- Monitor software licenses, usage, renewals, and optimization opportunities- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance- Track market trends, benchmark pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities- Support audits and maintain accurate procurement documentationYou'll be a great match if you have:- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT procurement, with a strong focus on software procurement- Solid understanding of software licensing models (Saa S, on-prem, cloud, subscriptions)- Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation- Strong analytical and commercial skills- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international environment- Fluency in English (spoken and written); Portuguese is a plusEnthusiastic?
