Travel Planner and Guest Relations

We're not only a culinary travel company, but also a global media brand known for our captivating storytelling that elevates local food traditions and the people - chefs, producers, restaurateurs, bakers, fisherman and others – working to keep them alive. We are currently seeking an innovative and detail oriented Trips Customer Service to join our team on a contract basis for 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have superior language skills, be good with customers and excellent attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Work with customers to ensure they get booked on the trips they want Create proposals for private trips Manage extra requests including additional rooms and airport pick ups Secure hotel rooms and ensure they are paid on time Create invoice lists for guests Work with customers to get forms filled in for the trip leaders Create information packages and literature for the guests Create templates for regular guest emails Maintain lists of trips in CRM Field customized trip requests Liaise between trip leaders and social media to tee up good content for posts Qualifications: Fluent in English, secondary language a plus Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the travel or hospitality industry Well-traveled Extremely detailed oriented Can work remotely across many time zones Creative in coming up with out-of-the box experiences Always pushing the team to make each element better A love for food and travel, and an appreciation for their power to connect people and cultures.
