Douro Labs is seeking a Senior FP&A to join our Operations team. This crucial role will drive our financial planning and analysis processes, providing vital insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, with expertise in data-driven forecasting, financial modeling, and capital management.You'll spearhead the implementation of forecasting tools, conduct variance analysis, and prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management. Your work will directly impact our capital performance and strategic financial planning.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with potential exposure to cryptocurrency markets and innovative yield strategies. If you're a finance professional with 5+ years of experience and a passion for driving financial excellence in a fast-paced setting, we're waiting for you.Location: Porto, Office or Portugal (Remote)About Our Team and Your RoleWe’re a well-rounded team: half of us are tech whizzes, while the other half excel in building partnerships with data providers, developers, and the DeFi community. Communication is key to our network-driven approach.Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia, with an optional office in Porto, Portugal. Remote work is the norm here.Language Proficiency: English proficiency is essential as it’s our primary communication language.Startup Vibe: We thrive in the dynamic DeFi space and love adaptable problem solvers who are eager to meet evolving market needs.Your ResponsibilitiesImplement data-driven forecasting tools to provide regular, insightful reports on financials.Provide scenario-based reporting, tracking revenue, cash burn, and capital inflows to support strategic decision-making.Conduct variance analysis on budgeted vs actuals on an ongoing basis.Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, presenting insights to senior management on capital performance.Work closely with Management, Finance, and Business Development teams on managing capital flows.Perform tax due diligence and analysis on various capital deployment strategies.Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Certified Accountant or CFA certification is a plus.5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency markets, capital allocation, and yield strategies.Proficiency in financial modelling, scenario planning, and capital management in fast-paced environments.Advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial tools such as SAP, Hyperion, or similar.Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial data to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.We’re building the most talented team in the world.Think you’ve got what it takes?
