We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller MAIN TASKS: Oversee and analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Provide expert financial advice to business stakeholders, guiding them on risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions. Identify financial risks and opportunities related to business decisions and propose alternative solutions. Contribute to quarterly financial closing by ensuring accurate representation of financial data and providing business insights. Work closely with business units and the broader finance team to ensure financial objectives are aligned and deliverables are met. Develop a critical perspective on financial reports, challenge assumptions, and provide insights to improve financial outcomes. Regularly inform relevant departments and leadership about their financial performance and key financial indicators. Ensure finance-related deliverables are effectively implemented, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy. YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics). More than 6 years of experience in financial control, business analysis, or a similar role. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Ability to identify risks and opportunities and provide strategic financial advice. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in financial systems and tools. Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices. Fluent in English (mandatory). French is a plus. Hybrid role based in Porto.
