Financial Controller

The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years. Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia.

With offices in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are recruiting for a Senior Financial Controller

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You will play a key role in supporting the company's growth and strategic initiatives in the renewable energy sector.

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and goals. You will provide guidance and insights on financial performance, forecasting, and budgeting to drive informed business decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing financial audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
- Proficient in using financial management software, such as ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing financial audits and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and procedures, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations
- Manage the financial audit process, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit findings
- Evaluate and optimize the company's financial policies and procedures to drive efficiency and mitigate risks
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting
