Solution Architect Senior

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and assess their alignment with EDP’s reference application architecture.
  • Design and document logical architecture solutions with simple to medium architectural impacts.
  • Define and specify APIs .
  • Prepare and maintain different types of architecture deliverables and documentation .
  • Ensure clear and accurate architecture documentation.
  • Follow established architecture governance rules and standards .
  • Collaborate with global and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to projects and support the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Perform critical analysis of requirements and propose appropriate architectural solutions.

Requirements:

  • Up to 10 years of experience in a relevant architecture role.
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field .
  • Good written and verbal communication skills .
  • Ability to work collaboratively in global and multicultural teams .
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills .
  • Strong commitment to quality of deliverables .
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Previous project experience is a plus.
  • English is mandatory ; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus.
  • Any Architecture certification , such as Microsoft, Cloud, or equivalent.
  • Solid knowledge of different types of architecture deliverables .
  • Experience with application architecture, logical architecture, and API design/specification .
  • Strong focus on architecture documentation and governance .
  • Fluency in English .
