Senior Full Stack Java Engineer (Architecture Exposure) Project Overview: We are building a dedicated development team to support new strategic initiatives within a global digital platform for a leading financial institution. The project operates in the Corporate Tax domain, with strong requirements around scalability, robustness, and long-term maintainability. Role Description: We are looking for aSenior Full Stack Java Engineerwith solid experience in enterprise environments and proven exposure tosoftware architecture and design decisions. The selected candidate will play a key role in the development of new features, contribute to technical direction, and collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain new features within the platform, focusing on the Corporate Tax domain. Collaborate with senior and mid-level developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Actively contribute to architectural discussions, including system design, component structure, and technical standards. Apply best practices in full-stack development, ensuring code quality, performance, and security. Ensure proactive communication and alignment with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders. Support technical decision-making across the software development lifecycle. Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team. Technical & Behavioral Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience in software development. Strong Full Stack Java development experience (Java 11 or higher). Experience with front-end technologies such as ExtJS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript. Proven exposure to software architecture, including system design, modularization, and integration patterns (not a pure architect role). Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Languages Required: Fluent English (spoken and written). Location: Lisboa Work Arrangement: Hybrid model Contract Type: CTI
