To learn more please visit Position Overview: This is a key role within Convatec Business Services (CBS) driving compliance and setting the standard for accuracy and governance. The Indirect Purchasing Associate role will support Indirect Purchasing Team Leader delivering excellence by providing quality support to our stakeholders, whilst ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, compliance and company purchasing guidance.Key Responsibilities: As an Indirect Purchasing Associate in our Convatec Business Services Centre in Lisbon, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in driving compliance and setting the standard for accuracy and governance Your key responsibilities will include: Gather and compare supplier quotations for indirect categories on behalf of local entities, ensuring competitive offers and policy compliance. Maintain accurate records of quotations and related supplier documentation. Collaborate with local stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure correct sourcing approach. Support Purchase Requisition creation and basic Purchase Order follow-up as needed. Monitor and track request progress through internal ticketing or workflow tools, ensuring timely resolution. Escalate potential issues or bottlenecks to the Indirect Purchasing Team Leader. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and templates used for local sourcing support. Assist in ensuring all requests comply with procurement governance, supplier qualification, and preferred vendor usage In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders such as the Global Procurement, Business Stakeholders, suppliers and Finance Department across the business including our other CBS teams in Kuala Lumpur and Bogota, CoE's as well as our Corporate, Commercial and Market teams.You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.Skills & Experience: Problem Solving Mindset Teamwork & Communication Knowledge of Purchasing and Catalogue Maintenance (not mandatory) Finance qualification is preferred SAP Experience 1-2 years Previous Experience in SSC (not mandatory) Excel Medium-Advanced Knowledge. Fluent Portuguese and English – Additional Languages can be a plus. 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Customer Service, or Shared Services (internship or junior level experience accepted).
