Position: Senior Data Scientist Location: Hybrid (Lisbon) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical and machine learning solutions. The role involves transforming complex business problems into scalable data-driven models, working with structured and unstructured data. The candidate will collaborate with global teams in an Agile environment, contributing to high-impact and strategic projects. Strong focus on model lifecycle management, quality, and innovation, including AI and Generative AI solutions. Key Responsibilities -Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and advanced analytics models in production environments -Build and maintain end-to-end data and ML pipelines, including preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment -Develop highly complex analytical models, including deep learning and combinatorial models -Integrate AI and Generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs) into real business workflows -Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams using Agile methodologies -Ensure model performance, scalability, and compliance with best engineering practices -Communicate insights and results through effective data visualization and storytelling Key Qualifications -Up to 10 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in similar roles -Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields -Strong experience with Python and/or R for machine learning and analytics -Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, Py Torch, Keras) -Experience with relational and No SQL databases -Proven experience deploying and managing ML models in production -Experience with cloud platforms and Paa S services (preferably Azure) -Knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence -Fluency in English; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus -Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
