About the Role

1WorldSync is seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to join our team in Portugal. As a Business Development Representative, you will be in direct contact with our sales team and play a key role in securing new customer appointments predominantly in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential new customers in the B2B sector
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers in companies
  • Carry out market and competitive analyses to identify new business opportunities
  • Create and implement strategies for lead generation and qualification
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement campaigns
  • Manage customer data, maintain and track sales activities in the CRM system
  • Make cold calls and follow-up calls to arrange appointments and prepare quotations
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events to increase brand awareness and generate new leads

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable position in a SaaS environment
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret market data and derive strategies
  • Strong cold calling and lead generation skills
  • Experience in working with CRM systems
  • Goal-oriented and proactive way of working
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work in a team
