The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sports journalism, expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) and Google Discover, and a strong network of industry contacts.

The successful candidate will create high-quality, engaging content that attracts citations from leading media outlets, optimize content for maximum visibility, and build a top-notch editorial team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the editorial team, including writers, editors, and multimedia content creators.
  • Develop and implement editorial strategies that align with company goals, focusing on both sports news and betting content.
  • Evaluate and ensure all content is accurate, captivating, and consistent with our brand voice, catering to both sports enthusiasts and bettors.
  • Establish and maintain processes for unique content distribution across prominent media outlets, increasing citations.

**Search Engine Optimization and Traffic Optimization:**

Understand and apply SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines, particularly Google Search and Google Discover.

Analyze traffic data to refine content strategies and maximize website visibility and audience reach.

Collaborate with our in-house SEO team to create innovative methods to increase traffic.
