About the Role
We are seeking a Remote German Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will work within our Quality Assurance team and be the first person to review the localized game in its entirety. You will collaborate with a global team to ensure the game is free from errors, inconsistent with the local culture, and accurately localized into the target language. Your role will involve logging details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions, and ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a global project team.
  • Identify and correct language errors, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.

Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with fluency in German and English, strong cultural understanding of the language, and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites is a plus. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.
