About the Role
This role involves working on complex projects with bespoke requirements, developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and data models, performing data analysis, and sharing insights through various channels. As an Analytics Engineer at Mollie, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, data models, and performing data analysis to inform key business decisions. You will work closely with other data engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work on complex projects with bespoke requirements and collaborate with other data engineers and data analysts.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and data models to support business decision-making.
• Analyze data from different sources to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Share insights and findings through various channels, such as presentations, reports, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or data engineer. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proactive, pragmatic, and having a 'can-do' attitude are essential qualities for this role. Additionally, you should have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, a solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and ETL processes, fluency in SQL (we use BigQuery), experience with dbt, proficiency in Python, experience working with a BI tool (we use Looker), and experience working with Git.
