**Overview of the Role**

The position of Medical Safety Specialist Leader at PrimeVigilance is a key opportunity for an experienced medical professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with expertise in pharmacovigilance and a strong background in medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading medical safety activities, including the review and assessment of adverse event reports, and providing expert advice on benefit-risk assessment and risk management.

**Salary:** $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Job Description:**

The Medical Safety Specialist Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide medical input and guidance on pharmacovigilance activities. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading medical safety reviews and assessments of adverse event reports
  • Providing expert advice on benefit-risk assessment and risk management
  • Collaborating with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Mentoring and training junior staff members
  • Contributing to the development of pharmacovigilance procedures and guidelines

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A medical degree (MD or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in pharmacovigilance, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
