Data Scientist

About the Role

Tn Portugal is a leading company in Grid Technologies, and we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the availability and quality of existing data and creating a high-quality architecture as a basis for the sustainable implementation of AI use cases.

You will work in an interdisciplinary team with data scientists and business professionals to foster a data-driven company culture and help implement machine learning and AI use cases. Your role will include supporting business professionals in use case refinements, collection and maintenance of data, planning and creating a suitable system infrastructure, and designing and configuring robust data sets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, central functions, and external partners to implement AI use cases.\
• Support staff in data acquisition techniques and ensure proper data collection/storage for administrative processes.\
• Maintain and develop existing data infrastructure.\
• Plan and create a suitable system infrastructure for applications for analysis.\
• Design and configure robust data sets and databases.\
• Work in an agile mindset and organizational/planning skills with the ability to work on multiple complex projects.\
• Travel with a focus on Central Europe (~30%).\
• Very good English skills.\
• Good knowledge of Snowflake SQL Scripting, Alteryx, SnapLogic, and experience in building end-to-end data pipelines.\
• Experience in data migration and intercultural communication and collaboration skills.\
• Experience in DevOps and familiarity with GitLab for CI/CD, MS Power Automate, AWS, Azure data services, and machine learning & AI.\
• Possess a university degree in computer or data science or related field.\
• Able to contribute to the conception and provision of a system architecture.\
• Build up deep knowledge with Snowflake model.\
