Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Data Developer and Investment Solutions Specialist to join our team at Nordea Asset Management in Oeiras, Portugal. As part of our leading European Investments unit, this role will play a key part in developing and maintaining high-quality data flows, mathematical models, and AI solutions for our investment boutiques.
About the Role
The primary responsibilities of this position include developing and supporting data and model pipelines for internal use and for investment boutiques, ongoing monitoring, support, and incident management of all flows, taking a proactive role in improving stability and performance of our offerings, and helping the value stream take over and modernize existing data and model flows.
Tech Stack
We are currently running a tech stack consisting of Python as the primary language for development of a core model framework, APIs, CLIs, distributed computing, etc., Atlassian DevOps tools, Jenkins, and other relevant technologies.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a Master degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related software engineering background, significant practical experience with Python as a language for core development, experience with design and development of data and model pipelines, and previous experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly within the Atlassian DevOps suite, and scheduling via Airflow is an advantage but not a requirement.
Location and Salary
This role is based in Oeiras, Portugal, and offers a competitive salary range of €30,000 - 40,000 per annum.
