Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Systems Engineer to join our team at Vestas.

This role involves designing the electrical infrastructure for Vestas' renewable power plants, developing the Vestas Power Plant Controller, and creating Electrical Simulation Models for wind turbines and power plant controllers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and test electrical simulation models for our wind turbines and plant controllers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and validate engineering designs.
  • Ensure our electrical simulation models meet global certification standards.
  • Optimize the development and validation processes of electrical simulation models.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with power systems simulation tools such as Simulink, PSS/E, DigSilent PowerFactory, or PSCAD.

You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
