The Data Engineers & Scientists department at DGU Global Digital Factory Coeis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary:

This role involves developing and implementing machine learning models and artificial intelligence solutions to solve complex corporate challenges. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise in Data Science, statistics, and programming to design, develop, and implement machine learning models tailored to specific problems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models using predictive analytics, recommendation systems, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and anomaly detection techniques.
  • Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into a suitable format for machine learning algorithms, ensuring data quality and handling any issues related to missing or noisy data.
  • Select and optimize machine learning algorithms and techniques based on the nature of the problem and available data.
  • Extract, design, and select relevant features from the data to improve model accuracy and interpretability.
  • Conduct thorough evaluation and validation of machine learning models using appropriate metrics and methodologies, assessing model performance and identifying potential biases.
  • Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems and ensure smooth deployment for real-time applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and advances in machine learning and AI technologies, conducting research and experiments to explore innovative approaches and stay ahead of industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant domain is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably in a business or research environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning, such as Python or R, along with experience in using machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, and deep learning architectures.
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation methods.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to effectively present findings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
