We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead operational excellence and change management activities in Energy Systems Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. This newly established role will require you to collaborate closely with the Finance and Performance Manager, Global Operational Excellence Lead, Regional Leadership Team, and global network of Operational Excellence Managers.
The Operational Excellence Director will drive step-change improvements in operational performance, delivering greater value to customers, employees, DNV Energy Systems, and society by leveraging Lean Operational Excellence methodology, empowering teams, and leading key improvement initiatives to achieve measurable benefits.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence Lead to identify, prioritize, and launch improvement pilots across the Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America region;
- Provide proactive coaching on Lean management, process improvement, and problem-solving to manager- and employee-led improvement pilots and initiatives, and support as required;
- Collaborate closely with a global team of Operational Excellence Managers and share lessons learned;
- Lead and proactively drive Operational Excellence and Change Management initiatives;
- Assist in designing, refining and tailoring Lean Operational Excellence, Performance Management, and Change Management concepts;
- Develop Lean Operational Excellence learning paths and deliver training (both in-person and virtually);
- Occasional travel may be required.
