About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our Planning and Engineering team at FedEx. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing effective solutions and ensuring optimal performance by designing and planning processes and/or reconfiguring existing processes and procedures that meet cost, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis tasks to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to operational business challenges.
  • Plan and execute location and routing system updates in support of operational changes, coordinating with colleagues and stakeholders in the field and central network entities.
  • Gather and validate requirements from stakeholders towards location and routing systems, communicating change activation dates and monitoring success.
  • Identify and escalate issues, find solutions, and agree those with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent/professional qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and intercultural awareness.
  • Ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, and track progress, with a creative mindset and ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
  • Experience in developing solutions to operational business challenges, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation concepts and industry background.
  • Excellent knowledge of English is a must, with good knowledge in working with Excel and VBA, Access, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
