Treasury Expert: Drive Financial Excellence with Indie Campers

Overview
The Finance Planning and Reporting team at Indie Campers is looking for a skilled Treasury Associate to join their ranks. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial health by managing cash flow, executing financial transactions, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with finance teams to design an effective cash pooling strategy, minimizing risk and optimizing transfers;
  • Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures that effectively control treasury activities, process payments and receivables efficiently, and ensure timely financial reporting;
  • Work closely with other finance departments to develop strategies for efficient payment structures and minimize cash position;
  • Analyze and forecast weekly and monthly cash inflows and outflows to achieve accurate daily cash flow projections;
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and vendors while making timely arrangements for debt collection and bank payments;
  • Review invoices, reconcile expenses, and oversee account staff reconciliations to prevent discrepancies;
  • Monitor overdraft accounts and short-term financing instruments to optimize cash management;
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on global cash positions using advanced reporting skills;
  • Coordinate with accounting on bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, or Auditing;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in treasury or a related field;
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong analytical skills;
  • Detailed attention to accuracy and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); fluency in additional languages such as Portuguese, German, Italian, or French is highly valued.

Estimated Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
