Solvay is a company that values innovation and collaboration. Our team is composed of talented individuals who work together to achieve great things. We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Finance department.
The role involves working with credit management, customer issues, and documentation to support our activities. As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Producing full accounts receivable services under scope, from cash allocation to management of doubtful customers, on a timely basis, according to defined procedures, respecting quality and compliance;
- Answering requests from customers or internal stakeholders;
- Detecting, documenting and following customer issues preventing cash allocation on time;
- Coordinating resolution through direct contact with credit management, sales and customer service teams, making proposals to address root causes;
- Managing unmatched payments, and residual amounts to ensure customer account reconciliation;
- Participating in process improvement projects and initiatives.
We offer a 9-month fixed-term contract based on hybrid working mode. The ideal candidate will have a relevant education degree or equivalent in accounting, economics or finance, and relevant work experience in credit or collections. Fluency in English is required, and other languages are a plus. High communication and collaboration skills, ability to work under pressure, analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
