The Senior Risk Management Leader will be responsible for leading the Risk Management Function within our organization. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify, measure, monitor, and mitigate risks.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading risk management functions within banking or fintech environments, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing risk management policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including regular reporting to supervisory bodies.
- Ensuring the integration of risk considerations into the organization's decision-making processes.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Senior Risk Management Leader will also be involved in:
- Risk identification and assessment, including credit, market, operational, liquidity, and other areas specified under regulatory frameworks.
- Performing risk assessments on new products, services, and significant business changes.
- Conducting stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential vulnerabilities.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to explain technical models to non-technical stakeholders. They will also possess a high level of integrity, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to upholding regulatory compliance.
