We are seeking a German Speaking Accounts Payable Professional to join our team in our German market. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing weekly payment runs, including reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies with vendors.
Your primary goal will be to ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds to vendors, while building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors. Effective communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies is crucial. You will also collaborate with procurement and business units to resolve vendor-related issues.
Additionally, you will review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and reconciling expenses against receipts. Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions is also a significant responsibility.
You will generate regular reports to track payment status and identify trends, contributing to month-end and year-end closing activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in finance processes.
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or finance, is required. Proficiency in English is essential, with additional European languages being a plus. Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP system skills are also necessary.
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented accuracy, and a proactive problem-solving attitude are all highly valued qualities for this role.
