HP, a leading technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our SEMA Supplies Market Category Team. This team is responsible for the sales and profitability of print supplies across a wide geography, spanning 79 countries from Southern Europe to the Middle East and Africa.
As a Category Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and strategy for the Portugal market and Southern Central Africa region. Your primary objective will be to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales force and partners at senior levels.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement category business plans to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and external partners.
- Manage product lines and quotas for a significant share of the product range or specific customer segments.
- Lead functional teams in areas such as market analysis, marketing engagement, and supply chain management.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Finance.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Marketing, Sales, and Business Planning.
- Proven expertise in Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management, End User Account management.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and its trends.
- Business planning skills, with ability to develop multidimensional plans.
- Financial planning and modeling skills, comfortable handling high complexity business planning and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills at senior management levels internally and externally.
- Negotiation skills and ability to frame product value propositions to customers/partners.
- Leadership skills and cross-functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing).
- Fluency in Portuguese and English required.
