Phiture is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor to join our team in Viana, Portugal. This role is crucial in developing and optimizing large volume production manufacturing solutions for new electrification products.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who can ensure that manufacturing best practices and lessons learned are implemented into new designs. The successful candidate will lead process standard development, definition, documentation, and deployment. Additionally, they will work within Manufacturing Engineering teams across multiple regions and plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize large volume production manufacturing solutions for new electrification products.
  • Ensure that manufacturing best practices and lessons learned are implemented into new designs.
  • Lead process standard development, definition, documentation, and deployment.
  • Work within Manufacturing Engineering teams multi-regional Global team and plant team.
  • Lead production equipment specifications definition and the associated sourcing process.
Requirements
  • Master of Sciences in Mechanical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of Manufacturing Engineering in automotive or mass production environment.
  • Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, PPAP, and AIAG Manufacturing requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills (8D, Shainin or Six Sigma training a plus).

This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the Organization. Experience in high volume manufacturing, knowledge of engineering financials, and ability to read and create comprehensive mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings are essential.
