About Us: At Buscojobs Portugal, we are a remote 30+ member research and software development team with a vision to establish a credibly neutral, trust-minimised infrastructure layer for web3. Our work on distributed validators boosts the security, resilience, and decentralisation of the Ethereum network.
Mission: The Obol Association supports the Obol Collective: a community dedicated to scaling Ethereum by strengthening the security, resiliency, and decentralisation of the consensus layer through the development and deployment of distributed validators. Located in Zug, Switzerland, our goal is to support the Obol Collective and serve as the steward of the Obol Protocol. We finance and support appropriate research and development activities and projects in the field of distributed software, particularly consensus systems, threshold signature schemes, and blockchains.

Governance Overview: The Obol Collective is governed by two houses: the Agora and the Obol RAF. In the Agora, $OBOL holders submit, deliberate, and vote on various types of Obol Collective governance proposals. In the Obol RAF, $OBOL token delegates allocate funds in the Obol RAF Fund to projects and teams from the Obol Collective that provide value through retroactive funding (RAF).

Job Responsibilities: As our Decentralization Specialist, you will oversee key aspects of our governance process, including proposal management, delegate and senator management, process optimization, community engagement, and compliance and governance integrity.
