We are Dv labs, a remote-first research and software development team pioneering Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Our focus areas include Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. With over 30 members spread across 15 countries, we are building the Obol Network – a protocol to empower trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation.

The network's architecture can be visualized as a work layer atop the base layer consensus, providing resiliency and decentralization as it scales. As Ethereum moves forward, our focus shifts to stake centralization. Critical to long-term viability and resiliency, layers like Obol ensure the security and decentralization of public networks.

We utilize middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) to enable distributed validator clusters that preserve validators' current client and remote signing configurations. This approach lays the foundation for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization, mirroring the impact of roll-up technology on L2 scaling implementations.

Distributed Validator Technology will evolve into a widely used primitive, ensuring the security, resiliency, and decentralization of public networks. We develop and maintain three core public goods that will eventually interoperate through circular economics:

  • The DV Launchpad: A User Interface for bootstrapping and managing Distributed Validators.
  • Charon: A Golang-based middleware client enabling validators to run in a fault-tolerant, distributed manner.
  • Obol Splits: A set of solidity contracts for forming Distributed Validators tailored to various use cases, including DeFi, Liquid Staking, and Fractionalized Deposits.

Sustainable Public Goods

Inspired by previous work on Ethereum public goods, we experiment with circular economics to unlock innovation in staking use cases. To achieve this, a credibly neutral layer must exist for innovation to flow and evolve vertically. Without this layer, highly available uptime becomes a significant barrier.

The Obol Network will become an open, community-governed, self-sustaining project. Together, we will incentivize, build, and maintain distributed validator technology, making public networks a more secure and resilient foundation for building upon.

Your Role: Crypto Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Crypto Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hiring process, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their talent needs, technical requirements, and team goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles, ensuring an efficient and seamless candidate experience.
  • Developing and implementing creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in crypto and Web3 domains.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on hiring metrics, performance data, and progress updates to the Talent Acquisition, hiring teams, and leadership group.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on technical roles, tools, and platforms, guiding hiring managers through interview processes, candidate assessments, and final hiring decisions.
  • Posting roles in multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Crypto Job portals, and Telegram groups.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • + 2 years of experience hiring in a web3 company (mandatory).
  • Techinical understanding of the roles.
  • Ideal Time zone from GMT-8 to GMT+3.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player mindset.
