This role as Localization QA Game Tester requires collaboration within our team to ensure accurate localization of games into target languages. As the first person to review the localized game, you will work on translated text, images, and user interface collectively, ensuring the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
We offer an attractive remuneration of €7.23 per hour, work equipment provided by PTW, and full training opportunities. As part of our global multi-lingual workforce, you will have access to superb training and promotion opportunities. We prioritize employee wellbeing and offer regular progression opportunities. This role is remote-based with flexible working hours between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays. Work at least 4 hours a day if there's a project. We are open to offering full-time positions to multilingual candidates (Japanese/Nihongo and other languages). This role requires onsite work at our studio in Braga, Portugal and you must have the right to work in Portugal.
